The figure represents all the slices that show the temporal horns (A is the most caudal, H the most rostral). The appropriate slice is that where the temporal horn is evident in all its expanse, that is to say, from the trigone of the lateral ventricle to the tip of the temporal horn, and where the tip of the horn is largest. The measure is gathered on a line perpendicular to the tangential the temporal horn in the point of maximum enlargement, shown by the arrows in the figure.
